A joyful experience
I was most impressed with the lady who served me today. I was shopping for my 94yr old sister now in a home but is still fussy about her appearance. I selected 3 summer blouses, in pretty colours and the MUST HAVE long sleeves. Thank you for being patient it counts for a lot, and I'm sure Claire will be thrilled with her new clothes. Saw the product I liked from your newest catalogue. I rang as my request was a little complicated. Your telephone advisor helped me explain what I wanted, she understood and immediately ordered for me. Email confirmation of order came through about 5 minute later. Delivery awaited.

The agent who answered the phone did not prompt me to quote the discount code THS 10 which would have given me 10% off as they usually do
I have been assured that the discount has now been applied and that I can look forward to my credit card being credited. Thank you for the speedy resolution of this issue.

Brilliant dress - though variable quality
I bought the pocketed linen pinafore dress in a plain coral colour some time ago and was very disappointed with the poor quality... thin fabric, unfinished seams, hanging threads and uneven hem. Despite this, I liked the dress sufficiently to keep it and recently also bought the rustic botanical print. Its like an entirely different garment!! Slightly smaller and shorter but much better quality of fabric and manufacture. I love it and its hardly been off my back since I bought it.... including a very long journey with hardly a crease and still looking cool and classy at the end (the dress - not me!!) Now absolutely my favourite dress ever and will certainly be buying more if the quality issue has been resolved

Utterly appalling customer service
Purchased items 22/5/22, order number R84***** returned 5/6/22, received by woolovers on 9/6/22. Still no refund by 23/6/22, called customer services and spoke to Manuella and was told that there was a problem with paypal and someone would call me back if they could resolve the problem. No-one called back. I called again 24/6/22 and spoke to Clare and was told that the refund had not been actioned and that she would do that now. Received an email (with a different order number to the one that I had provided 61*****) from Clare to say refund had been sent via paypal. Still no refund on 29/6/22 and called and spoke to Tracy who initially said order number 61***** sent on the email confirming my refund actually corresponded to a different customer (Mrs Craddock) but that the refund had been correctly processed to my account and I should contact paypal to find out why they had not returned my money. I asked to speak to a team leader and was put through to Peter who said that the 2nd order number was an internal number and that the money had been refunded and told me to call woolovers back in two days to escalate the issue if the refund had not come through by 1/7/22. Still no refund by 1/7/22 and I called woolovers back, I spoke to Patrick who initially said that my bank and paypal account had been closed (which it had not), then said that a team leader would call back later to take my banking details as there was a disconnect between my bank and their own system. I was then put on hold mid-sentence and when Patrick came back on the phone, he told me that there was not actually a problem with the link between their paypal refund and my bank account and that had been an issue with a different customer and that I should wait until July the 4th to receive my £69 refund. Utterly appalling customer service. I returned my items on 5/6/22 and as of 01/07/22 and four phone calls later I am still without my refund. I am waiting for another team leader- Andrew to call me back today (01/07/22). I have also sent an email today (01/7/22) containing all of the above information, so woolovers has got my order number and contact details, should they wish to contact me to sort this out. I have ordered from woolovers for several years and this is the first time I have sent items back for refund. I will NEVER order from woolovers again on the basis of this experience. Please refund £69 immediately.
***Update, 3 hours after sending an email outlining the above infomation to customer services, I got a call from Sarah Richardson, who was able to immediately refund via paypal £69. If you want a problem solving, contact her directly via email, as she is the only person that was actually willing to solve the problem and able to do that straight away. If woolovers want to keep longstanding customers they need to retrain a lot of their customer services staff, certainly all of those that I spoke to before Sarah called me back (she was not even a team leader or supervisor- just someone who took pride in doing their job well). This was obviously an issue that could have been resolved on the first call had the staff been interested in doing that! Thank you Sarah***

I was trying to order an item online…
I was trying to order an item online using a voucher number offered to me by post but the voucher number was not accepted. I telephoned customer services and was able to complete order with the help of a very friendly gentleman. I should receive the item within 3 days which is very comforting.

I recently ordered a Pocket Pinafore Dress in Rustic Botanical Print. The lovely lady I spoke to on the phone was courtesy itself. She assured me the dress would be delivered within 3 to 5 days. It arrived in 2 days. And I LOVE this dress! It's cool, it's comfortable, the fit is perfect, and the pattern beautiful. This dress will be worn over and over again. I've since ordered another one in Warm Stone. Gorgeous! It arrived in 36 hours. As well as all this, the dress arrived in what looked like a plastic bag, but said bag had 'I am not plastic!' emblazoned on the front. It can go in the compost bin! What's not to like about this company? They will be, from here on, my top go-to for online clothes shopping. Thank you, WoolOvers.
